We are a husband-and-wife team who have lived in the beautiful Somerset countryside for nearly 30 years and now run The Stables Holiday Homes which comprises of three self contained luxury holiday cottages located just a mile from the popular Somerset market town of Bruton.

Whether you are looking to embark on a leisurely holiday or instead just need business accommodation near Bruton, rest assured that any of our cottages can provide you with the ideal tranquil environment to rest, relax and recharge.

Two of our cottages are dog-friendly, while both of our larger cottages are wheelchair-accessible and include a ground floor wet room as well as, for people unable to negotiate stairs, a comfortable sofa bed in the living room.

The Stables Holiday Homes employ a stringent cleaning and sanitising programme between every booking and social distancing guidelines are carefully adhered to.

Accessibility

Both larger cottages are wheelchair accessible and have a ground floor wet room for convenience. Each has a comfortable sofa bed in the living room allowing those unable to negotiate stairs to enjoy the surroundings. Bathroom aids are available if required. Highchairs and travel cots can be provided on request

Know Your Hosts

We are a husband and wife team with a grownup family who have lived here for almost 30 years. We are on hand to quickly offer assistance and resolve any problems if required and have a wealth of local knowledge which we are happy to share!

Hauser and Wirth Gallery – Internationally acclaimed art gallery showcasing some of the world’s most expensive artworks with beautiful gardens including the Radić Pavilion. The Roth Bar and Grill is on site for refreshments.

The Newt – A country estate and working farm with splendid gardens, magnificent woodland, ponds, lakes, a spa, cafe and restaurant.
